Friday Poetry — Wandering Time
0Wandering Time
I walk along the avenue
Down a street I once knew
It’s all the same but different now
This time it will be better somehow
My life has been a journey like this
Wandering time in ignorant bliss
Seeing things I have know before
Over and over I am left wanting more
So much is familiar, yet so strange
I know in my head I am just deranged
In the end, what can I really do?
I wish it were us, just we two
That’s what it is, I am sure
Our love became a bit impure
I don’t know where we went wrong
Wandering time as we moved along
Now I wander by myself, I am all alone
Looking for you, forever I will roam
I hope you find my weary little path
You and me forever is sweet, sweet math
