{"id":103,"date":"2010-09-22T08:31:06","date_gmt":"2010-09-22T14:31:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.shadowkatmandu.net\/?p=103"},"modified":"2010-09-22T08:31:06","modified_gmt":"2010-09-22T14:31:06","slug":"wednesday-wanderings-ok-go-betty-whites-secret-revealed-etc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.shadowkatmandu.net\/?p=103","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday Wanderings (OK Go, Betty White&#8217;s Secret Revealed, etc.)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have enjoyed <em>OK Go<\/em>&#8216;s videos since they did the treadmill thing.\u00a0 They are usually pretty inventive, making something interesting out of something ordinary, all while singing a nice song.\u00a0 Their latest effort, <a title=\"OK Go - White Knuckles\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=nHlJODYBLKs\" target=\"_blank\"><em>White Knuckles<\/em><\/a>, uses a lot of very well-trained dogs, and I think it&#8217;s fantastic.<\/p>\n<p>Does the revelation that <a title=\"Betty White, Jedi Knight\" href=\"http:\/\/www.joeydevilla.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/bettywhitejedimaster.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">Betty White is a Jedi knight<\/a> really come as a surprise?\u00a0 I thought not.<\/p>\n<p>Given the subtitle of this blog&#8211;Madness&#8211;it probably comes as no surprise I believe a bit of insanity is a good thing.\u00a0 Here is a weird <a title=\"Insane List\" href=\"http:\/\/www.globalone.tv\/group\/theoffbeat\/forum\/topics\/to-maintain-a-healthy-level-of\" target=\"_blank\">list of insane things to do<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Finally&#8211;and I apologize for having a short list this week&#8211;I found this funny little animated video about <a title=\"Jet Pack Madness\" href=\"http:\/\/webspace.ringling.edu\/~ghetting\/THESIS042009.swf\" target=\"_blank\">a man who built himself a jet pack<\/a>.\u00a0 I am surprised nobody thought of this potential problem before.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have enjoyed OK Go&#8216;s videos since they did the treadmill thing.\u00a0 They are usually pretty inventive, making something interesting out of something ordinary, all while singing a nice song.\u00a0 Their latest effort, White Knuckles, uses a lot of very well-trained dogs, and I think it&#8217;s fantastic.
