Being Done<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Somebody’s snoring
\nSomeone else is wide awake
\nElsewhere, people running
\nWhere other walk around a lake<\/p>\n

If it can happen
\nAnd most things can
\nSomewhere it sure is
\nSomewhere in this land<\/p>\n

I don’t know who
\nIs doing what and where
\nIn this amazing world
\nWe have so much to share<\/p>\n

So whatever you may
\nBe doing in the here and now
\nIf you don’t like
\nImagine something else somehow<\/p>\n

It’s not you taking that other action
\nBut maybe someone who is
\nIs wishing they were you
\nDoing some other biz<\/p>\n

It’s amazing to think about, sometimes.\u00a0 Any general action you can think of and quite a few specific ones are happening somewhere.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, I owe a double apology this week, as I skipped both Tuesday and Thursday.\u00a0 I can’t make up for both–or at least I won’t–but I can give a few Nothing Day type updates.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The first such update is that I have a date tonight.\u00a0 In theory.\u00a0 I haven’t heard from my date since Sunday–she is one of the Nursery caregivers–but she did agree to go to dinner and the comedy club tonight.\u00a0 I am going to keep trying to reach her until either I succeed or the date time comes and goes.\u00a0 If it happens, I may make a special post about it.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I had lunch yesterday with the bosses.\u00a0 There are two of those, and as I was named employee of the month earlier this month, I had the privilege of one long lunch with the two guys running the little group I work for.\u00a0 It was a good meal at a place I hadn’t been to before but, now that I have tried it, will likely return to.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, I have gotten back into writing.\u00a0 I finished editing Mitheil’s Sister<\/em> and started working on Children on a Dragon’s Wing<\/em> again.\u00a0 Last night, in fact, I cranked out about four thousand words on it.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
