Lonely Heart’s Lament<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I am adrift
\nOn an ocean wide
\nI see someone
\nHope is thus spied<\/p>\n

I have oars
\nA motor, too
\nBut I cannot use
\nEither of these two<\/p>\n

It’s a handicap
\nOn myself I place
\nI have arms and knowledge
\nTo enter the race<\/p>\n

But I lack courage
\nTo get close to you
\nWhoever you are
\nIt makes me feel blue<\/p>\n

So adrift I will stay
\nAlone on my boat
\nWith only one hope
\nTo keep me afloat<\/p>\n

That someday I’ll see
\nAnother rafter somewhere
\nThat I’ll finally approach
\nIf I could only dare…<\/p>\n

Just the usual sad and sorry bit of lonely verse.\u00a0 Later, I will go to Wally World where there are at least two lovely ladies I would like to ask out but will never have the guts to actually do so.\u00a0 Or the waitress at the restaurant I’ll be going to before that.\u00a0 No, there’s not a rational explanation for that.\u00a0 After all, I asked Bob out, why not one of these girls?\u00a0 Sigh.<\/p>\n
