This summer has been a Summer of Change.  My daughter moved in with her long time on-and-off boyfriend.  I took a real vacation with my kids.  And now my surviving son, Spiff, is moving in with me.  That’s right, he’s moving from Richmond to here.  He’s actually going through with it!  My dad bought him the plane ticket and he will be here next Thursday at 1315.  I can’t tell you how excited I am.

I apologize for missing this week’s Rant and doing nothing on Tuesday.  I have trouble coming up with topics for those days sometimes, and just didn’t put the effort into it this week.  I really need to get back on track, I know.

In EverQuest, Dan managed the achievement of getting flagged to be able to go to Tier 4 of the current expansion.  It’s Boom’s turn now, but really I am focused on Dan.  He raids, and so he needs to be better geared and flagged and so forth.  In fact, I had an in-game conversation with our raid leader, who initiated said conversation.  He gave a little advice, and was wanting to make sure I was working on making improvements to Dan.  This is cool, mostly for the fact that he wants me to continue to run two characters in raids.

That’s all I have for this week.  Mostly because I didn’t get a lot of sleep last night, so I am about to take a nap and compensate for that.  See you tomorrow.
