Wowzers, look at this!  It’s Nothing Day and for the second week in a row, I am posting!

Big news of the week is that I have a new date planned.  The previous date was missed because (1) my would-be date was sick and (b) she could not log into Facebook to find the contact information I sent her.  So even if (b) wasn’t true, she wouldn’t have been able to make it anyway.  That’s okay; I asked out a different person at church, somebody I will call Hugs for my own obscure reason.  No, she’s not a huggy person; as I said, the reasons are obscure.  The date is tomorrow night and is at least a little bit different.  I’ll be going to her house (I have been there before and know the address) with the original Hoodwinked movie on DVD.  We will watch it and then go see the sequel, which is now out in theaters.  There’s a good chance her twelve-year-old daughter will be along, but I still see it as a mostly regular date.

The money I will spend on my date will be an exception to a new practice for me:  Saving money.  I want to have at least a thousand saved back for my trip in July to Indiana.  I did place my usual payday Amazon order late last night when my paycheck hit my bank, but I exercised some restraint and ordered much less than I wanted to, if that makes any sense.  I even removed something from my cart, as I added something a couple of days ago which put the total a little higher than I wanted.  Anyway, I hope to have the money saved I want to have saved with my next paycheck, even with an Amazon order going out.

The thing I added was a monk costume.  I already have the haircut for it, and on Friday the 13th of this month, I am going to need it for a Medieval Supper one of my church friends is hosting.  I will be helping out by serving and whatever else may be needed, and for that I need to be in costume.  So I ordered one on Amazon, which meant I had to not order one other thing.

Meanwhile, EverQuest and, well, everything else SOE related went offline on Monday.  A couple of weeks ago, the Playstation Network was taken offline due to being hacked.  Sony then found out the hackers got into their SOE network as well, and got a bunch of information on people.  The latest information is that Anonymous did it, although the Anonymous top dogs have anonymously denied involvement.  Sony is hoping to bring SOE back online soon, but as of now EQ is not playable.  Personally, I don’t understand why the games are offline, as it seems the damage has been done.  Hopefully they are patching whatever vulnerability was used.

That’s it for this week.  I’ll have the usual poetry tomorrow.  See you then.
