Whenever I turn to the left
Or when I turn to the right
I see Mother Nature
She’s always in my sight

Trees and grass and birds
Flowers and sunshine and bees
Everything I know and
All that everyone sees

Some may say, “Hey wait,
I see cars and boats and stuff
Things not of Mama Nature
And I’d like to call your bluff!”

Ah, but there’s the catch
It doesn’t matter what it is
If man made or not, no worries
It is still Mother Nature’s biz

Man may have assembled the pieces
Put together all of the parts
But Nature made all those little bits
With her kind and loving hearts

You just cannot escape it
If you go back far enough
Mother Nature made it
She’s really got the stuff!

Not my usual ode to Nature, but a concept I occasionally think about.  There is no such thing, really, as something truly unnatural.  The composition of everything is the result of natural things, even if you have to slice it really thin to see it.

Naturally, I will see you Monday.  Have a great weekend!
