Wednesday Wanderings (Types of Labs, Magnitude Names, Heartwarming Story, etc.)
0The internet is an equalizing place until you want to talk about your computer.
I have always wondered if the family dog of my youth was really a black lab. Apparently, there’s a type of lab I hadn’t thought of which, in retrospect, describes him quite well.
This is not an accurate chart of the magnitude names, but it is funny in the end.
Have you ever received a story in your email that was so heartwarming it made you want to gag? Well, here’s another bullshit heartwarming story like that, only better.

I wonder what kind of peripherals this motherboard would support…a USB (Unlimited Sugar Butt) port, maybe?
In the last few years, “cosplay” (costume play) has become very popular. Originally a manga / anime thing, it has stretched into other fiction varieties. And now somebody has given new meaning to the word “cosplay”.
I have always enjoyed the comic strip Boondocks, although I confess I haven’t read it lately. Still, it’s known for making an interesting point from time to time.
Speaking of video games, I have finally learned why Pac-Man works so hard to get away from the ghosts.
At last, we have the real reason the sword was so hard to pull from the stone.
I wonder if the laser pointer in this strip about cats named Bob (“bobcats”) is suing for harassment.
It’s rare when you see a cat catch their prey so amusingly.
Literal meanings of Firefox have been done over and over, so I enjoyed finding a couple other software names literally interpreted as well.
Finally, we turn to Cliff and Norm for an important explanation.
