Goodbye, dear Shadow
You were so much of my life
Without you, I am empty
Such a hole is left behind

Hello, sweet Kivuli
You are so full of life
You seem to see my emptiness
And you’re stretching your paws to fill it

Sweet kitties, so dear to me
One has left this world
The other had come into mine
Confusion is what I feel

New love grows with my new kitten
While I still am mourning the old
Shadow rests beside me
Kivuli on my shoulder

So much alike
Yet so different, too
All I can say is
Goodbye, Hello
